How do I have to set this up? If I put multiple Objects into the ground null, it is just using one Object?!

due to performance issues the ground objects must not overlap. If you have a big basic ground object and place a smaller object inside of the big one, it won't be detected. You need to arrange the ground objects in way, that they don't cover each other.
