Have you already checked what the manual says in the appendix?
The simulation could not be initialized because not all of the required objects are available. One possible cause is that basis objects of the simulation were accidentally deleted. Use the function Restore on the page Geometry in the attribute manager of the simulation object to reconstruct the missing objects.
